People that play the game use this hole for a target. Each time a bag stays on the board points are given as well. The highest number of points come from hitting the hole with the bag. Each cornhole board has to meet size requirements. Regulations for the cornhole game say that platforms must be 2 feet by 4 feet. Wood is usually used for the platform. Sometimes, though, they can also be made of plastic. While plastic is not as popular, it is an acceptable substitute. Commercial manufacturers generally use plastic to make cornhole boards. It typically lasts longer than wood and usually doesnt cost as much.
It is not difficult to play the cornhole game. Thirty feet is the regulation distance between the player and the cornhole board. Bags are tossed toward the board with the hole in it. Each time the bag goes in the hole a player gets points. Bags that miss the hole and stay on the board are worth points as well. Each bag that falls off the board is not worth any points. People can play the cornhole game in a singles match with one person competing against another. Playing in teams of two is also possible in the cornhole game. When doubles are played two cornhole boards are used. Each team uses a separate board. When doubles are played it is necessary to use two cornhole boards.
People can buy cornhole set. Sets can be bought that contains board, bags, and instructions. It is not expensive to purchase a cornhole set. Many people really enjoy these sets. Picnics and parties are good places for cornhole games. The cornhole game is more popular in specific areas of the country. Other parts of the country are taking a renewed interest in the cornhole game. There are likely people that would not enjoy the cornhole game, however. Many old-fashioned games are ignored today because of technology. However, for those that enjoy older pastimes and a simpler life the cornhole game is a very good choice of things to do.
